Mint Julep


  • 2.5 ounces Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 5-6 mint leaves


Combine all ingredients into a rocks glass, or julep cup, and gently muddle the mint to release the flavor. Add some crushed ice, and lightly stir or swizzle to combine. Top with more crushed ice,  and garnish with a bouquet of mint sprigs. For additional garnish, you can add several dashes of aromatic bitters to the top of the crushed ice.
