INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass, and add ice. Stir the cocktail until properly chilled and diluted. Strain the cocktail into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a blackberry. Cheers!
HOW TO MAKE BLACKBERRY SYRUP In a medium saucepan combine 1 cup of water, 1 pack of blackberries and bring to a light simmer. Gently mash the blackberries when they soften, and begin to split to release more flavor and juice. Add in 1 cup of sugar, and stir to dissolve the sugar. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the syrup from the heat and allow it to cool. Strain out the blackberry solids, and store the syrup in a glass jar in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
