Combine all ingredients into a stemmed glass and add crushed ice. Gently stir to combine, and add more crushed ice to the top of the glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge, and fresh basil leaves.
HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY SYRUP
Combine one cup of water, and one cup of halved or sliced up strawberries in a medium saucepan. Bring the strawberries to a light simmer until they split and release their juice. Add in one cup of sugar and gently stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool. Strain out the strawberry solids and store the syrup in a glass jar in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
