Hot Toddy

What You Need


  • 1.5 oz Scotch Whisky
  • 1 cup of water
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 1/2 oz honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick

  1. Combine 1 cup of water, juice from half a lemon, honey, and 1 cinnamon stick into a small/medium saucepan on the stove, and warm on low/medium heat.
  2. Pour the scotch (or rum or bourbon) into a mug, and top the mug with the liquid from the sauce pan.
  3. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.
