- 1.5 oz Rye Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
- 3 Basil Leaves
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine lemon juice, simple syrup and basil leaves, and gently muddle.
2. Pour in rye whiskey, and fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a basil leaf.
