What You Need


  • 2 oz Rye
  • 1/4 oz Fernet Branca
  • 1/4 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters


Mix the Cocktail: Combine the rye, Fernet Branca, simple syrup and bitters into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Using a bar spoon, stir the cocktail for 10-15 seconds to chill.

Strain the Cocktail: Using a julep or hawthorne strainer, pour the cocktail into a coupe glass.

Garnish the Cocktail: Using a strip or orange peel. After rimming the glass float.
