2 oz bourbon whiskey

1 oz Lemon Juice

.75 oz Honey Syrup

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake to chill the cocktail. Strain the drink into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a lemon wheel or lemon twist. Cheers!

how to make Honey Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of honey and 1 cup of water. Warm on low to medium heat, and stir until the honey is dissolved. Store the syrup in a glass bottle in the refrigerator for up to one month.
